Day #6: Fighting Cancer Naturally: Apricot Seeds
Apricot seeds (kernels) - Any dark berries (blue, purple black) are staples for fighting cancer as they are high in antioxidants, but let’s go a step further with apricot and strawberry seeds (the latter you just get by eating the whole fruit – easy!) Populations found to eat apricot seeds have little to no cancer found in their communities. Before we get around to how the heck to ingest apricot seeds, let’s get to the “why.” Apricot seeds contain B17 and laetrile which is found in the soft part of the seeds. A primitive tribe with an unusually consistent long-life expectancy (well into the 100′s) called the Hunzas were known to consume large amounts of apricot seed kernels. They did this by breaking the hard kernel down into softer size kernels. There were no cancer incidences with them ever. You eat the inner kernels, or grind them up and put them in a smoothie.
A quote from Natural News:
“A young Brooklyn man, Jason Vale, was imprisoned because he refused to stop telling others on TV and in lectures how he cured himself of cancer using those nasty apricot pit kernels! Jason is a more recent public example of the Medical Mafia’s grip on the legal system regarding B17. Laetrile, which is non toxic, was banned by the FDA in 1971.”
But they can’t ban our apricots, dammit! The reason
natural compounds, such as laetrile, are banned by the FDA or shunned by the medical industry, is because they cannot be patented and exploited for profit. Compounds coming from nature can’t be patented. The truth is, if the FDA or the medical industry could have patented apricot seeds to cure cancer, we would be paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for apricots.
